Palak Gosht by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients:

  • Beef 1/2 kg
  • Spinach 1 kg
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • Whole red chili 4-5
  • Garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Garam masala 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice 4 tbsp
  • Green chilies 4-5
  • Fresh coriander 1/2 bunch
  • Butter 1/2 cup
  • Oil 2-3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Heat oil in pan, saute spinach and cook until it is soft.
  2. Now take oil in pan, add garlic paste and fry it.
  3. Then put beef, mix it and roast it.
  4. Now add water as required and tender meat.
  5. Then cut whole red chilies into 2 pieces and put in meat.
  6. Then put cumin, mustard seeds and green chilies, roast it lightly, add some water and cook it.
  7. Now add spinach, lemon juice and salt and cook for 10 minutes.
  8. When salan is ready, take it out in serving dish, heat butter and put on it.
  9. In end, garnish with green chilies and fresh coriander and serve.
