Mutton Makhani by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:

  • Mutton 500 grams
  • Onion (small) 1
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Ginger paste 1 tbsp
  • Garlic paste 2 tsp
  • Green chili paste 1 tbsp
  • Curd 1/4 cup
  • Cream 1/4 cup
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala 1-1/2 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Butter 1/4 cup
  • Oil 4 tbsp
  • Green coriander 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Heat oil in pan, fry small onion, add ginger paste, garlic paste and fry till it turns golden brown.
  2. Now, add mutton and allow cooking for 5 to 6 min, adding tomatoes, and green chili paste.
  3. Add 2 cups of water and cover with lid to tenderize meat.
  4. When water dries, add curd, turmeric powder, garam masala, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt.
  5. Add cream in mixture.
  6. Before serving, add butter.
  7. Dish out and serve delicious mutton makhani.
