Brownie Chicken by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Chicken 1 kg or 16 pieces
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Ketchup 2 tbsp
  • Eggs 2
  • Bread crumbs as required

For White Sauce:

  • Butter 2 tbsp
  • Flour 3 tbsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Stock cube 1/2
  • Water 1 cup
  • Milk 1 cup
  • Hoisen sauce 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. For white sauce: Put all ingredients in pan and cook until thick.
  2. For chicken: Marinate chicken with salt, black pepper, mustard seeds, ginger garlic paste and ketchup for 30 minutes.
  3. Now dip in beaten eggs and roll in bread crumbs.
  4. Then shallow fry it for 15 minutes till golden.
  5. Then heat white sauce, add fried chicken and cook for 10 minutes till chicken pieces are nicely coated.
  6. In end, serve chicken with parsley and mash potatoes.
