Ingredients:
- Boneless beef 700 gm
- Yogurt 250 gm
- Rice 50 gm
- Green gram 50 gm
- Red lentils 50 gm
- White lentils 50 gm
- Split bengal gram 50 gm
- Wheat 50 gm
- Barley 25 gm
- Gulzar special haleem masala 2 tbsp
- Onion 2
- Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
- Green chilies 8-10
- Coriander 1/2 bunch
- Mint leaves 1/2 bunch
- Lemon juice as required
- Chopped ginger as required
- Oil 1 cup
- Salt to taste
- Fried onions, Chaat masala for garnish
Method:
- Soak all lentils, wheat and barley overnight.
- Now boil wheat, barley and bengal gram.
- Cut beef into small pieces.
- For korma: Heat oil in pot and fry onion until light brown.
- Now add meat and ginger garlic paste and mix it nicely.
- Then add haleem masala, salt and green chilies, beat yogurt and add it.
- Now mix all ingredients nicely, add water as required and tender it.
- When meat tender and masala dries, remove it.
- Korma is ready.
- For lentils: Put water, all lentils and rice in pot, mix it nicely, cover and cook until tender.
- For mixing: Put lentil mixture and korma in chopper and chop it.
- Then put in big pot, add water, keep on low flame and stir it with spoon.
- When all ingredients are nicely mixed and tender, remove it and give bhagar of onion.
- Take out haleem in serving bowl.
- Garnish with fried onion, chopped ginger, coriander, mint leaves, chaat masala and lemon juice and serve it.
