Tomato & Garlic Chutney by Zubaida Tariq

Ingredients:

  • Yogurt (whisked) 2 cups
  • Finely chopped tomatoes 4-6
  • Lemon 4
  • Green chilies 6
  • Garlic cloves 6
  • Curry leaves 8
  • Mustard seeds few
  • Mustard oil 1 cup
  • Onion seeds 1 tsp
  • White cumin 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Salt as required

Method:

  1. Heat mustard oil in pan, put mustard seeds and saute it for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Then add tomatoes, green chilies, garlic, curry leaves, onion seeds, white cumin, red chili powder, ginger garlic paste and salt.
  3. When mixture dries and oil comes up, put lemon juice.
