Keema Per Eeda by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:

  • Mutton mince 200 gm
  • Eggs 6
  • Ghee 2-1/2 tbsp
  • Onions chopped 2
  • Tomatoes chopped 2
  • Green chillies de-seeded 3
  • Garlic chopped 5-6 cloves
  • Ginger chopped 1-inch piece
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1-1/2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 3/4 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar 3/4 tsp
  • Vinegar 1-1/2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Heat ghee in pan, add onions and saute for  1-2 minutes.
  2. Add mince and cook for 5 to 6 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile blend tomatoes and green chillies to smooth paste and set it aside.
  4. Add garlic and ginger to mince, mix and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Add turmeric powder, cumin powder, red chilli powder and salt and mix well.
  6. Cover and cook for another 3 to 4 minutes.
  7. Add tomato paste and mix well.
  8. Add sugar, vinegar, mix well and continue to cook.
  9. Break one egg at a time and place at different places over mince mixture.
  10. Sprinkle a little salt and cover and cook for 4 to 5 minutes or till eggs are set.
  11. Serve hot with roti, paav or steamed rice.
