Ingredients:

  • Milk 2-1/2 cups
  • Cream 1/4 cup
  • Sugar 3 tbsp
  • Pawwa (flaked rice) 1/2 cup
  • Almonds (blanched and sliced) 10-15
  • Pistachios (blanched and sliced) 10-15
  • Cardamom powder 1/4 tsp
  • Nutmeg powder 1/2 tsp
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp

Method:

  1. Clean and wash pawwa well.
  2. Boil milk.
  3. Remove 1/4 cup milk and add to cream.
  4. In rest of milk add the sugar and cook till sugar is melted.
  5. Let milk boil and add pawwa. Cook till thick.
  6. Add almonds and pistachios, remove from heat, let cool little and then add cream.
  7. Lastly add cardamom and nutmeg powders and vanilla essence.
  8. Mix well and then refrigerate.
  9. Serve cold.
