Pawwa by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:
- Milk 2-1/2 cups
- Cream 1/4 cup
- Sugar 3 tbsp
- Pawwa (flaked rice) 1/2 cup
- Almonds (blanched and sliced) 10-15
- Pistachios (blanched and sliced) 10-15
- Cardamom powder 1/4 tsp
- Nutmeg powder 1/2 tsp
- Vanilla essence 1 tsp
Method:
- Clean and wash pawwa well.
- Boil milk.
- Remove 1/4 cup milk and add to cream.
- In rest of milk add the sugar and cook till sugar is melted.
- Let milk boil and add pawwa. Cook till thick.
- Add almonds and pistachios, remove from heat, let cool little and then add cream.
- Lastly add cardamom and nutmeg powders and vanilla essence.
- Mix well and then refrigerate.
- Serve cold.
