Dum Machli by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients:

  • Whole fish 1
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
  • Garlic paste 3 tbsp
  • Talhar chili paste 4 tbsp
  • Chili paste 2 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder 2 tbsp
  • Carom powder 1/2 tsp
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice 1/2 cup
  • Olive oil 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Wash fish and mark cut.
  2. Now marinate with salt, lemon juice and garlic paste and leave for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Then mix corn flour, talhar chili paste, chili paste, turmeric, carom, all spice, cumin, mustard, salt and oil in mixing bowl nicely, make mixture, spread on fish and close in aluminum foil.
  4. Now steam it for 20-25 minutes.
  5. In end, dish out, garnish with green coriander and serve,
  6. Dum machli is ready.
  7. You can steam, bake or fry this fish.
