Ingredients:

  • Semolina 1 cup
  • Butter or oil 1-1/2 cups
  • Milk powder 2 cups
  • Desiccated coconut 2 cups
  • Sugar 2 cups

Method:

  1. Roast semolina till it changes its color but do not let it turn dark brown. Set aside.
  2. Make a syrup using water and sugar, mix all ingredients and semolina and cook on low flame.
  3. Stir continuously, till all butter or oil used is absorbed in.
  4. When mixture leaves the sides of pan, remove and spread on a greased surface and cut in squares.
