Ingredients:

  • Boiled potatoes 1/2 kg
  • Fenugreek leaves 6 bunches
  • Crushed red chili 1 tbsp
  • Chopped green chilies 4
  • Ginger powder 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Roasted cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Lemons 2
  • Crushed black pepper 1 tsp
  • Ghee or Oil as required
  • Wheat flour 1 kg
  • Flour 2 tbsp
  • Turmeric some

Method:

  1. Wash fenugreek leaves nicely and soak in water with some turmeric.
  2. Heat oil in wok, put ginger powder and red chili and roast it lightly.
  3. Now roast fenugreek nicely, mash potatoes and add it.
  4. Also put salt, black pepper, green chilies and cumin powder and roast it lightly.
  5. Then mix lemon juice and remove it.
  6. Now mix wheat flour and salt and knead it.
  7. Then make one portion and roll like roti.
  8. Then spread potatoes and fenugreek leaves.
  9. Then spread wet flour on edges, keep second roti on top and close edges.
  10. Then heat tawa, toast like roti, put ghee or oil with spoon and toast it.
  11. Parathay is ready.
