Ingredients:

For Moti:

  • Chicken mince 750 gm
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Onion 1
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Silver paper for decoration
  • Green chili 4-5
  • Salt to taste

For Rice:

  • Sela rice 500 gm
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Onion 2
  • Chicken cubes 2
  • Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
  • Fennel seeds 1 tbsp
  • Cloves 3-4
  • Cinnamon stick 2-3
  • Pepper corns 1 tbsp
  • Whole coriander 1 tbsp
  • Ghee or Oil 1 cup
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. For moti: Add all ingredients except silver paper in chopper and chop it.
  2. Now make balls of this mixture, put in steamer and steam it.
  3. Put silver paper of half balls and keep half balls as it is.
  4. Moti is ready.
  5. For rice: Clean rice, wash it and soak for 2 hours.
  6. Now make potli of cumin, fennel, cloves, cinnamon, pepper corns and coriander.
  7. Add water, chicken cubes and potli in pot and cook until fragrance comes.
  8. Then heat oil in pan, add onion and fry until light brown.
  9. Then take out half onion and keep it aside.
  10. Add ginger garlic paste in half onion, toast it and give bhagar to stock.
  11. Now add rice and cook it.
  12. When rice is ready, add chicken moti and simmer it.
  13. When simmer is completes, dish out, garnish with brown onion and serve it.
