Beef Korma by Rida Aftab

Ingredients:
- Beef 1 kg
- Yogurt 375 gm
- Oil 1 cup
- Fried onions 1 cup
- Chopped ginger as required
- Bay leaves 1
- Cardamom 6
- Kewra essence few drops
- Cumin 1 tsp
- Whole black pepper 1 tsp
- Coriander powder 1 tsp
- Mace powder 1/2 tsp
- Cream of tartar 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- Salt 1/2 tsp
- Coconut powder 2 tbsp
- Red chili powder 1-1/2 tsp
Method:
- Grind cumin, black pepper, coconut and mace in grinder.
- Now take it out in bowl, put turmeric, salt, chili powder, coriander, bay leaves, tartar and kewra essence and mix it nicely.
- Then mix in meat, yogurt and onions and leave for 30 minutes.
- Then heat oil, put meat, cover it and leave it for 30 minutes.
- When meat tender, add water.
- When 2-3 boils come, put ginger and green chilies as required and serve.
