Ingredients:

  • Butter 8 oz
  • Ghee 4 oz
  • Caster sugar 16 oz
  • Eggs 6
  • Semolina 16 oz
  • Flour 4 oz
  • Baking powder 1-1/2 tsp
  • Milk 1/2 cup
  • Green cardamom 1 tsp
  • Saffron essence 1/2 tsp
  • Almonds and pistachios 1/2 cup
  • Poppy seeds 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Beat butter and ghee with caster sugar.
  2. Now put eggs 1 by 1 and beat it.
  3. Then put flour and milk and beat it.
  4. Then add cardamom, mix it and keep it aside.
  5. Sprinkle almonds, pistachios and poppy seeds on top.
  6. Now put in greased pan, bake for 40-45 minutes, cool it, cut into squares and serve it.
