Fish & Chips In Curry Sauce by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients:
For Fish & Chips:
- Fish in pieces 500 gm
- Garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Potatoes slices 3
- Maida 1/2 cup
- Corn flour 1/2 cup
- Oil for fry
- Salt to taste
For Curry Sauce:
- Chopped onion 1
- Chopped garlic 4-5 cloves
- Curry powder 2 tbsp
- Chicken stock 1/2 liter
- Corn flour 1 tbsp
- Lemon juice 2 tbsp
- Maida 3 tbsp
- Coriander 1/2 bunch
- Butter 1/2 cup
- Salt to taste
Method:
- For fish & chips: Marinate fish with salt and garlic paste.
- Then coat with maida.
- Now put salt and corn flour on potatoes.
- Then heat oil in pan, fry potatoes and fish, take it out and keep it aside.
- For curry sauce: Add maida and butter in pan and roast it.
- Then put garlic and onion and fry it.
- Now add curry powder and salt and mix it.
- Then add stock and cook it.
- Then add lemon juice and mix it.
- Dissolve corn flour in water and add in sauce.
- Sauce is thick, put fish & chips, mix it, take it out in dish and serve.
