Fish & Chips In Curry Sauce by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients:

For Fish & Chips:

  • Fish in pieces 500 gm
  • Garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Potatoes slices 3
  • Maida 1/2 cup
  • Corn flour 1/2 cup
  • Oil for fry
  • Salt to taste

For Curry Sauce:

  • Chopped onion 1
  • Chopped garlic 4-5 cloves
  • Curry powder 2 tbsp
  • Chicken stock 1/2 liter
  • Corn flour 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Maida 3 tbsp
  • Coriander 1/2 bunch
  • Butter 1/2 cup
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. For fish & chips: Marinate fish with salt and garlic paste.
  2. Then coat with maida.
  3. Now put salt and corn flour on potatoes.
  4. Then heat oil in pan, fry potatoes and fish, take it out and keep it aside.
  5. For curry sauce: Add maida and butter in pan and roast it.
  6. Then put garlic and onion and fry it.
  7. Now add curry powder and salt and mix it.
  8. Then add stock and cook it.
  9. Then add lemon juice and mix it.
  10. Dissolve corn flour in water and add in sauce.
  11. Sauce is thick, put fish & chips, mix it, take it out in dish and serve.
