Schezwan Chowmein by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:
- Egg noodles 1 packet
- Chicken thinly slices 1 cup
- Salt 1 tsp
- White pepper 1 tsp
- Soya sauce 3 tbsp
- Egg 1/2 beaten
- Corn flour 1 tsp
- Cabbage thinly slices 2 cups
- Onion 1
- Carrots 2
- Green chilies 6
- Chili sauce 1 tbsp
- Garlic chopped 1 tbsp
- Ketchup 2 tbsp
- Green onion leaves 1/2 cup
- Oil 1/4 cup
Method:
- Boil noddles with 2 tbsp oil for 3 minutes, take it out and keep it aside.
- Now marinate chicken with 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp white pepper, soya sauce, egg and corn flour.
- Now heat oil, put garlic, fry it lightly, add marinated chicken and cook for 5 minutes.
- Then put cabbage, onion, carrot, green chili, green onion, soya sauce, chili sauce, 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp white pepper.
- Then add boiled noodles, toast it and mix it nicely.
- In end, garnish with green onion and serve it.
