Schezwan Chowmein by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Egg noodles 1 packet
  • Chicken thinly slices 1 cup
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • White pepper 1 tsp
  • Soya sauce 3 tbsp
  • Egg 1/2 beaten
  • Corn flour 1 tsp
  • Cabbage thinly slices 2 cups
  • Onion 1
  • Carrots 2
  • Green chilies 6
  • Chili sauce 1 tbsp
  • Garlic chopped 1 tbsp
  • Ketchup 2 tbsp
  • Green onion leaves 1/2 cup
  • Oil 1/4 cup

Method:

  1. Boil noddles with 2 tbsp oil for 3 minutes, take it out and keep it aside.
  2. Now marinate chicken with 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp white pepper, soya sauce, egg and corn flour.
  3. Now heat oil, put garlic, fry it lightly, add marinated chicken and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Then put cabbage, onion, carrot, green chili, green onion, soya sauce, chili sauce, 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp white pepper.
  5. Then add boiled noodles, toast it and  mix it nicely.
  6. In end, garnish with green onion and serve it.
