Malbari Prawns by Rida Aftab

Ingredients:

  • Prawns 1 kg
  • Yogurt 250 gm
  • Green chilies 6
  • Dry mango powder 1 cup
  • Curry leaves 6
  • Whole round chilies 6
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Desiccated coconut 2 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Chopped onions 1 cup
  • Tomatoes 3
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Fennel seeds 1/2 tsp

Method:

  1. Heat oil and put round chilies, fennel seeds and curry leaves.
  2. When fragrance comes, add onions.
  3. Then put coriander powder, turmeric, salt, coconut, tomatoes and mango powder and cover it.
  4. Then add prawns and roast it nicely.
  5. Now put yogurt, simmer it for 10 minutes and close stove.
