Ingredients:

  • Mutton 1/2 kg
  • Chopped green chilies 3
  • Chopped onions 3
  • Potatoes 4
  • Big cardamom 4
  • Black peppercorn 10
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Red chili 1 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Green coriander 4 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Peel potatoes and cut into 4 pieces.
  2. Now put mutton, onion, turmeric, red chili, salt, ginger garlic paste, oil, cardamom, black peppercorn and 2 cup hot water in pot and cook on low flame.
  3. When meat tender, add potatoes and yogurt and roast it little.
  4. Then put 3 cup hot water, cover it and simmer it on low flame.
  5. When potatoes tender and oil comes up, put green coriander and green chilies and simmer more for 5 minutes.
  6. Serve aloo gosht with hot hot chapati or plain rice.
