Aloo Gosht by Zubaida Tariq

Ingredients:
- Mutton 1/2 kg
- Chopped green chilies 3
- Chopped onions 3
- Potatoes 4
- Big cardamom 4
- Black peppercorn 10
- Oil 1 cup
- Yogurt 1/2 cup
- Turmeric 1 tsp
- Red chili 1 tbsp
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Green coriander 4 tbsp
- Salt to taste
Method:
- Peel potatoes and cut into 4 pieces.
- Now put mutton, onion, turmeric, red chili, salt, ginger garlic paste, oil, cardamom, black peppercorn and 2 cup hot water in pot and cook on low flame.
- When meat tender, add potatoes and yogurt and roast it little.
- Then put 3 cup hot water, cover it and simmer it on low flame.
- When potatoes tender and oil comes up, put green coriander and green chilies and simmer more for 5 minutes.
- Serve aloo gosht with hot hot chapati or plain rice.
