Methi Kaleji by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Mutton liver (small pieces) - 1/2 kg
  • Chopped Fenugreek - 1/2 kg
  • Chopped Tomatoes - 2
  • Chopped Onions - 1 cup
  • Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
  • Red Chili Powder - 2 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 2 tsp
  • All Spice Powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • Oil - 1/2 cup
  • Sliced Green Chilies - as required

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan, and fry onions for 5 minutes.
  2. Now add ginger garlic paste, turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, chopped tomatoes and fry 5 minutes more.
  3. Now add chopped fenugreek, cover the lid and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Then add mutton liver and cook for 10 minutes.
  5. In the end, add salt, all spice powder and fry.
  6. Remove it from the stove and garnish with sliced green chilies.
