Ingredients:

  • Mash potatoes 500 gm
  • Green chilies 4-5
  • Coriander 1/2 bunch
  • Green chilies 3-4
  • Pomegranate seeds 2 tsp
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste

For Dipping:

  • Gram flour 250 gm
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Baking soda 1/2 tsp
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt to taste

For Serving:

  • Bun 3-4
  • Dry garlic chutney as required

Method:

  1. For dip: Add all ingredients and some water in mixing bowl and make thick batter.
  2. For varha: Boil potatoes and mash it.
  3. Then add green chilies, green coriander, pomegranate seeds, cumin, black pepper and salt and mix it nicely.
  4. Now make balls of medium size.
  5. Then heat oil in pan, dip in gram flour batter and deep fry it.
  6. Then put dry garlic chutney is center of bun, then keep varha and serve.
