Open Faced Hawaiian Sandwich by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Bread Slices - 6
  • Butter - as required
  • Boiled and shredded Chicken - 1 cup
  • Crushed Pineapple - 1/2 cup
  • Thinly Sliced Cabbage - 1/2 cup
  • Chopped Coriander Leaves - 1 tbsp
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp
  • Black Pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • Sugar - 1 tsp
  • Cream - 1 tbsp
  • Mayonnaise - 4 tbsp
  • Sweet sauce - 1 tbsp
  • Chili Garlic Sauce - 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Spread butter on the bread slices.
  2. Mix boiled and shredded chicken with crushed pineapple, thinly sliced cabbage, chopped coriander leaves, salt, black pepper, sugar, cream, mayonnaise, sweet sauce and chili garlic sauce.
  3. Spread this mixture in the middle of three breads.
  4. Decorate with pineapple and cherry over it with a toothpick.
