Ingredients:

  • Cubed Carrot - 1
  • Chopped Onion - 1
  • Crushed Garlic - 1 tbsp
  • Crushed Red Pepper - 1tsp
  • Chopped Tomatoes - 4
  • Oil - 1/4 cup
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp
  • Oregano - 1 tsp
  • Boiled Penne pasta - 2 cups

Ingredients for mince sauce:

  • Mince - 250 gms
  • Chopped Onion - 1
  • Garlic Paste - 1/2 tsp
  • Oil - 1/4 cup
  • Oregano - 1/2 tsp
  • Crushed Red Pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • Crushed Black Pepper - 1 tsp
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp
  • Basil - 1 tsp
  • Butter - 2 tbsp

Method: 

  1. For making pasta sauce, heat oil, add crushed garlic, chopped onion and cubed carrot.
  2. Now add chopped tomatoes, crushed red pepper, salt, oregano and cook for 10 - 15 minutes till it turns thick.
  3. Now cool this mixture and blend.
  4. For making mince, heat oil and butter together, then add chopped onion, garlic paste, oregano, crushed red pepper, crushed black pepper, salt, basil, mince and fry for 5 minutes.
  5. Now add 1 cup water, cover the lid and cook till the mince is tender.
  6. Now add this mince in the pasta sauce, then fold boiled pasta with it.
  7. Now take it out in a dish and garnish with parsley and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy.

Penne Bolognese is a Pasta Dish, prepared with Pasta, Mince and Pasta Sauce and sprinkled with Parsley and Cheese
