Ingredients:

  • Butter - 4 oz
  • Brown Sugar - 8 oz
  • Caster Sugar - 1/2 cup
  • Eggs - 3
  • Flour - 8 oz
  • Baking Soda - 1 tsp
  • Cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • Baking Powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Salt - 1/4 tsp
  • Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp
  • Grated and Peeled Apples - 2 cups
  • Yogurt - 1 cup

Ingredients for topping:

  • Flour - 1/2 cup
  • Brown Sugar - 1/2 cup
  • Cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
  • Baking Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Butter - 2 oz
  • Coffee - 1 tsp

Method:

  1. Grease one big rectangular oven proof dish.
  2. Preheat the oven on 180c.
  3. Beat butter and brown sugar together till they look light and creamy.
  4. Add eggs one by one with vanilla essence.
  5. Fold grated and peeled apples in the mixture.
  6. Now spread the mixture on the greased dish and spread the topping on top of it.
  7. Bake the cake for 45 minutes.
  8. For topping, mix all the ingredients for topping together.

Apple Coffee Cake is prepared with Apple, Baking Soda and Yogurt and topped with topping.
