Vegetable & Mushroom Jalfrezi by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients:

  • Mushrooms 1 cup
  • Green beans 1/2 cup
  • Carrot slices 1-2
  • Cabbage 1/2
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Onion sliced 1
  • Tomatoes slices 2
  • Green chilies 3-4
  • Capsicum sliced 1-2
  • Corn flour 1-2 tbsp
  • Tomato paste 1/2 cup
  • Soya sauce 4 tbsp
  • Oil 3-4 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Heat oil in pan and fry ginger garlic paste.
  2. Then add tomatoes and onion and fry it.
  3. Now add mushrooms and green beans and fry it.
  4. Now add carrot, capsicum and cabbage and stir fry it.
  5. Then add red chili powder, all spice powder, turmeric, tomato paste and soya sauce and roast it.
  6. Now add water as required and cook until vegetable tender.
  7. Add corn flour in water, mix it and cook until mixture is thick.
  8. Now dish out it and serve.
