Chicken Masala by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Chicken (boneless) - 1/2 kg
  • Oil - 1/4 cup
  • Red Chili powder - 2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • All spice - 1/2 tsp
  • Chili garlic sauce - 1 tbsp
  • Sweet chili sauce - 1 tbsp
  • Chopped Onions - 2
  • Blended tomatoes - 2
  • Green chilies - For garnishing
  • Coriander leaves - For garnishing

Method:

  1. Heat oil and add chopped onions and fry till they are light pink in colour.
  2. Now add ginger garlic paste, boneless chicken, red chili powder, salt, turmeric powder, all spice powder, chili garlic sauce and sweet chili sauce.
  3. Close the lid and cook for 10 minutes.
  4. Blend tomatoes and add in the gravy till the chicken becomes soft and oil comes on top.
  5. Garnish with green chilies and coriander leaves.

Chicken Masala is prepared with Chicken, Chili Sauce and Chili Garlic sauce and garnished with Green Chilies and Green Coriander.
