Sarsoon Ka Saag by Rida Aftab

Ingredients:

  • Mustard greens 2 kg
  • Bathwa 1 kg
  • Fenugreek leaves 1/2 kg
  • Garlic 1 clove
  • Ginger 25 gm
  • Green chilies 50 gm
  • Butter 200 gm
  • Mace flour 1/2 cup
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Chopped ginger 1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 2 tsp
  • Oil as required

Method:

  1. Boil mustard, bathwa, fenugreek leaves and green chilies.
  2. When tender, add mace flour and salt and mash it nicely.
  3. Now heat oil, cut ginger and garlic finely and put it.
  4. When fragrance comes, put chili powder and mustard and roast it.
  5. Then take out in dish, put tarka of butter and chopped ginger on top.
