Ingredients for drumsticks:
Chicken Legs - 8 (1/2 kg)
Salt - 1tsp
Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
Water - 1 cup
Tamarind Paste - 1/2 cup
Chaat Masala - 1 tsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
All Spice Powder - 1/2 tsp
Crushed Red Pepper- 1 tsp
Ingredients for masala Rice:
Boiled Rice - 1/2 kg
Oil - 1/4 cup
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Crushed Red pepper - 1 tsp
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Crushed Coriander - 1tsp
Roasted and Crushed Cumin - 1 tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
Chaat Masala - 1 tsp
All Spice - 1 tsp
Chicken Powder - 1 tbsp
Finely Chopped Spring Onions - 1 cup
Method:
Boil chicken legs in water. Add salt and turmeric, boil till the water gets evaporated and the chicken is tender.
In a bowl add tamarind paste, chaat masala, ginger garlic paste and mix well.
Marinate the chicken legs with this mixture.
Heat 1/4 cup oil in a pan and deep fry the chicken legs and keep it a side.
For making rice, heat oil in a pan, add ginger garlic paste, salt, crushed red pepper, turmeric, crushed coriander, roasted and crushed cumin, chaat masala, all spice powder, chicken powder and boil all in 1/2 cup water.
Now add boiled rice in it and mix well.
Cover the lid and put it on dum for 10 minutes.
Take the rice out in a dish, garnish with finely chopped spring onions and serve with drumsticks.
Tamarind Drumsticks With Masala Rice is prepared with Chicken Leg and Rice and garnished with Green Onion.
