Mustard Chicken Karahi by Chef Asad

Ingredients

  • Chicken: 1/2 kg
  • Mustard Paste: 2 tbs
  • Yogurt: 4 tbs
  • Salt: as per taste
  • Black Pepper: 1 tsp
  • Onion: 1
  • Tomato: 3
  • Tomato Puré: 2 tbs
  • Garlic/Ginger paste: 1 tbs
  • Green Pepper: 4 to 6
  • Red Pepper Powder: 1 tsp
  • Cumin/Zeera: 1 tsp
  • Garam masala: 1 tsp
  • Salan masala: 1 tsp
  • Oil: 1/2 cup

Method

  1. In Chicken, add yogurt, salt, black pepper, mustard paste, and mix it well.
  2. Add 2 table spoon Oil, and cook it on lower flame for 10 minutes.
  3. Increase the flame to turn it to brown.
  4. In other bowl, add 1/2 cup oil, green pepper, onion, chopped tomatoes, and fry it for a while. Now add ginger/garlic parse and other Masalas. Add little water, and cook it for 5 minutes.
  5. Add chicken. Mix it. It is ready to serve now.
