Ingredients:

  • White lentil 1 cup
  • Red lentil 2 tbsp
  • Onion (sliced) 1/2 cup
  • Tomato (sliced) 1
  • Green chilies 4-6
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Water/Chicken stock 1 cup
  • Garlic chopped 2 tsp
  • Egg (beaten) as required
  • Ginger (julienne cut) 1 tbsp
  • Tara garam masala 2 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Egg (beaten) 2-3
  • Green coriander (chopped) 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Heat oil in pan and fry onion until golden brown.
  2. Then put garlic, tomato, salt, red chili powder and turmeric, cook it and make masala.
  3. Now add white and red lentil with water or chicken stock and cook until lentil tender.
  4. Put egg beaten as required and stir it continuously.
  5. In end, put tara garam masala, green chilies, ginger and green coriander, simmer it for few minutes, take out in dish and serve hot.
