Cheesy Pakoray by Zubaida Tariq

Ingredients:

  • Cottage cheese 1 packet
  • Gram flour 1 cup
  • Egg 1
  • Chicken cube 1
  • Red pepper 4
  • Green chilies crushed 6
  • Coriander leaves 1 bunch
  • Soda bicarbonate 1 pinch
  • Yogurt 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Oil as required
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Put gram flour, egg, chicken cube, red pepper, green chilies, soda, coriander leaves, yogurt, cumin seeds and salt in bowl and mix nicely with lukewarm water.
  2. Now mix cottage cheese.
  3. Then heat oil in wok and fry pakoray of this mixture.
  4. When golden brown, take it out and keep on tissue paper, so that oil absorbs.
  5. In end, serve hot hot cheese pakoray with tamarind pulp and tomato ketchup.
