Ingredients:
- Chickpeas 1/2 kg
- Brown lentil 1/2 cup
- Turmeric powder 1 tsp
- Potatoes 2
- Roll sheets for serving
- Oil for fry
- Salt to taste
For Green Chutney:
- Coriander 1/2 bunch
- Mint leaves 1/2 bunch
- Green chilies 5-6
- Tamarind paste 1/2 cup
- Sugar 2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
For Special Masala:
- Whole kabab cheni 2-3
- Whole perry 2-3
- Whole black peppercorns 2 tbsp
For Garnish:
- Finely chopped onion 1/2 cup
- Finely chopped tomatoes 1/2 cup
- Finely chopped coriander 1/2 cup
- Yogurt 1 cup
- Chaat masala as required
Method:
- For special masala: Put all ingredients in blender, grind it and make masala.
- For green chutney: Put all ingredients in blender and blend it.
- For chickpeas: Soak chickpeas in 1 tsp soda overnight.
- Now boil chickpeas, brown lentil, salt and turmeric until chickpeas is soft and brown lentil tender.
- When water dries, cut potato into small cubes, mix it and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Chickpeas is ready.
- For making bowl: Heat oil in deep pan.
- Now keep roll sheets in chalni.
- Then keep one more chalni on top and deep fry it.
- Bowl is ready.
- Make bowls of all sheets like this.
- For serving: Put chickpeas in bowl.
- Then sprinkle chaat masala.
- Then beat yogurt and put on top.
- Then sprinkle onion, tomatoes, coriander, green chutney and special masala and serve it.
