Chicken Tikka Karahi by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients:

For Chicken Tikka:

  • Chicken leg (3 pieces) 2
  • Garlic paste 1-2 tbsp
  • Chicken tikka masala as required
  • Coal as required

For Karahi:

  • Garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Tomatoes 4-5
  • Chopped green chilies 5-6
  • Whole green chilies 5-6
  • Crushed red chili flakes 1 tsp
  • Crushed black pepper 1 tsp
  • Crushed fennel seeds 1 tsp
  • Crushed cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Butter 2-3 tbsp
  • Ghee 1/2 cup
  • Salt as required
  • Ginger slices for garnish

Method:

  1. For tikka: Marinate chicken with garlic paste and tikka masala.
  2. Now bake in preheated oven on 200 degrees C for 10-15 minutes, take it out and give smoke of coal.
  3. Tikka is ready.
  4. For karahi: Add garlic paste in pan and roast it.
  5. Then add chopped green chilies, tomatoes, red chili flakes, black pepper, fennel seeds, cumin seeds and salt, mix it and roast it.
  6. Then put whole green chilies, butter and chicken tikka and mix it.
  7. When karahi leaves oil, dish out it, garnish with ginger slices and serve.
