Ingredients:

For Dough:

  • Maida 1/2 kg
  • Butter for fry
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as required

For Filling:

  • Maida 1 tsp
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
  • Baking powder 1/2 tsp
  • Ghee 1 cup

Method:

  1. For dough: Mix maida, salt and water and knead soft dough.
  2. Cover with plastic and keep it so that dough does not becomes hard.
  3. When required, take it out and roll long and thin.
  4. For filling: Beat all ingredients in bowl nicely.
  5. Then spread this mixture on rolled dough.
  6. Then roll dough and cut into as required portions.
  7. Now close lacha side and spread oil or ghee on upper side.
  8. Then keep close side on top, press with hands and roll with lightly hand.
  9. Then heat oil in wok, pick khajla carefully and fry in ghee.
  10. In end, take it out, cool it and serve.
