Ingredients:

  • Keri 1/2 kg
  • Sugar 250 gm
  • Onion seeds 1 tsp
  • Button red chilies 12
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Mix nuts 50 gm
  • Water 1/2 liter
  • Yellow food color 1 pinch
  • Water (for syrup) 1 cup

Method:

  1. Peel keri, cut into small small pieces, put in water and cook on low flame for 20 minutes.
  2. Now cool it and grind in blender.
  3. Then put sugar, onion seeds, red chilies, salt and 1 cup water in second pot and cook it for 10 minutes.
  4. Now add grinded keri and stir it.
  5. When it boils, put yellow food color and mix nuts and close stove.
  6. In end, cool it and fill in jar.
  7. Keri ki meethi chutney is ready.
