Ingredients:
- Yogurt 1 kg
- Fresh milk 1 cup
- Corn flour 1 tbsp
- Sugar 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
For Dahi Baray:
- Boiled potatoes 1/2 kg
- Egg whites 2
- Black pepper crushed 1 tsp
- Red chili flakes 1 tsp
- Cumin roasted & crushed 1 tbsp
- Rice flour 3 tbsp
- Salt to taste
For Tamarind Chutney:
- Tamarind pulp 1 cup
- Black salt 1 pinch
- Dried ginger 1 tbsp
- Cumin powder roasted 1 tbsp
- Red chili powder 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
Method:
- Boil potatoes, peel it and make bharta with fork.
- Now mix rice flour, cumin, black pepper, red chili flakes and salt and mix it nicely.
- Then grease hand, make round kabab like shami kabab, dip in egg whites and shallow fry in hot oil.
- For dahi baray: Mix milk, corn flour, sugar and salt in milk and beat it nicely.
- For tamarind chutney: Mix tamarind pulp, dry ginger, cumin and red chili and cook it lightly.
- When it is cool, add black salt and salt.
- Now put some yogurt in wide and deep dish.
- Then put some tamarind sauce and keep aloo ky baray.
- Then put yogurt and tamarind chutney on top.
- Put finely chopped almonds if necessary.
- Aloo ky dahi bharay is ready.
