Tamarind Chutney by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:
- Tamarind 2 cups
- Jaggery 1 cup
- Salt to taste
- Black salt 1/4 tsp
- Red chili powder 1/2 tsp
- Cumin powder 1/2 tsp
- All spice powder 2 tsp
- Raisins 10-15
Method:
- Soak tamarind in 2 cups warm water for 1 hour and pass through strainer.
- Try to take out as much pulp as possible.
- In pan, add jaggery and tamarind pulp and cook on low heat for 10-15 minutes.
- Now add remaining ingredients and keep stirring on low heat till thickness.
- Turn off heat.
- Once it cools down, refrigerate in in glass container and use as desired.
