Ingredients:

  • Mutton 1/2 kg
  • Split red lentil 1 cup
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Curry leaves few
  • Green chilies 4
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Tamarind paste 1 cup
  • Cinnamon powder 1 tsp
  • Onion 2
  • Oil 1 cup

Method:

  1. Heat oil in pot, put mutton, 2 cup water, onion, ginger garlic paste, turmeric, red chili and salt and cook it.
  2. Wash red lentil with lukewarm water and boil separate.
  3. When tender, grind it in blender.
  4. Water of mutton dries, roast it lightly and put grinded lentil, tamarind paste, green chilies, curry leaves and chopped tomatoes.
  5. Green chilies tender, lentil is ready.
  6. Then put cinnamon and simmer it for 5 minutes.
  7. In end, serve hot with plain rice.
