Molten Chocolate Cake by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Butter 150 gm
  • Dark chocolate chopped 150 gm
  • Eggs 3
  • Caster sugar 1/2 cup
  • Flour 3 tbsp
  • Coco powder 2 tbsp
  • Salt 1 pinch
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • Butter for greasing

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees C.
  2. Now keep oven proof dish in it.
  3. Grease 4-6 ramekins with butter and dust with coco powder nicely.
  4. For sides and base coating: Melt chocolate and butter in double boiler.
  5. Then beat eggs, caster sugar, vanilla essence and salt and beat for 10 minutes till it rises.
  6. Now strain flour and coco powder.
  7. Then cool melted chocolate and butter to room temperature and fold in eggs mixture.
  8. Then put flour and coco powder with spatula and stir it.
  9. Now fill ramekins with 3/4 chocolate batter and bake in preheated oven for 8-12 minutes.
  10. When layer of cake forms and cake comes out of mold, cool it for 10-15 minutes, take it out and serve with cream and ice cream scoop.
