Fried Dim Sim by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients:

For Dim Sim Pattie:

  • Maida 2 cup
  • Eggs 2
  • Corn flour 1/2 cup
  • Oil for fry
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as required

For Dim Sim Filling:

  • Beef mince 250 gm
  • Boneless chicken 125 gm
  • Spring onion 1-2
  • Mushroom chopped 1/2 cup
  • White pepper powder 1 tsp
  • Crushed black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Chinese salt 1 pinch
  • Salt to taste
  • Japanese soya sauce 1/2 cup
  • Lemon juice 4 tbsp
  • Finely chopped spring onion 2-3

Method:

  1. For sauce: Add Japanese soya sauce, lemon juice and spring onion and mix it. Sauce is ready.
  2. For pattie: Put corn flour, egg, salt and water in maida and knead it.
  3. Then roll thin and long roti.
  4. Cut pattie with round mold.
  5. For filling: Put beef, chicken, spring onion, white pepper, Chinese salt and salt and make paste.
  6. Put 1 tbsp chicken mixture in each pattie and close edges with eggs.
  7. Put 1 tbsp oil in pan and grease it.
  8. Now keep 5-6 dim sim together in pan.
  9. When dim sim fries, put water and close cover for 1-2 minutes.
  10. Then open cover and take out dim sim.
  11. Dish out it and serve with sauce.
