Malpura by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Milk 1 cup
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Flour 1 cup
  • Egg beaten 1
  • Zarda color 1/2 tsp
  • Baking powder 1 tsp
  • Green cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  • Saffron 1 pinch

Method:

  1. Mix milk and sugar and cook for 10 minutes.
  2. Then remove from stove and cool it.
  3. Then put flour and mix it nicely.
  4. Then add egg and mix mixture nicely.
  5. Now put zarda color, baking powder and cardamom powder and leave batter for 1 hour.
  6. Then shallow fry malpura in frying pan.
  7. Now serve hot with balai.
