Imli Aur Khajoor Ki Chutney by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Tamarind pulp 1 cup
  • Dates (soaked and de seeded) 15
  • Brown sugar 3/4 cup
  • Water 2 cups
  • Lemon salt 1/4 tsp
  • Black salt 1/2 tsp
  • Crushed red pepper 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Ginger powder 1 tsp
  • Roasted & crushed cumin 1 tsp
  • Corn flour 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Put tamarind pulp, dates, brown sugar, water, lemon salt, red pepper, red chili powder, ginger powder and cumin and put in pan.
  2. Now cook for 20 minutes until it is thick.
  3. Then take it out and blend it.
  4. Now put black salt and corn flour in blended mixture and cook for 2-3 minutes.
