Turkish Lamb Pulao by Faizan Rehmat

Ingredients:

  • Pine nuts 1/3 cup
  • Olive oil 2 tbsp
  • Slice onion 1 large
  • Cinnamon 2 sticks
  • Lamb meat 500 gm
  • Basmati rive 250 gm
  • Vegetable stock 1 cube
  • Salt to taste
  • Crushed red pepper 1 tsp
  • Dry apricots 12
  • Chopped mint leaves handful

Method:

  1. Heat oil in pan and cook until onion is golden.
  2. Then add lamb meat and cinnamon, roast it, put salt, black pepper and rice and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Now add stock, cover it and cook until rice is cooked.
  4. Add pine nuts and mint leaves and serve it.
