Ingredients:
For Baray:
- White gram 1/2 kg
- Rice flour as required
- Garlic paste 1 tsp
- Cumin powder 1 tsp
- Baking soda 1/3 tsp
- Oil for frying
- Salt to taste
For Masala:
- Whole red chilies 5-6
- Whole black pepper corns 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
- Black salt 1/2 tsp
- Salt to taste
For Green Chutney:
- Tamarind paste 1/2 cup
- Mint leaves 1 bunch
- Green chilies 5-6
- Salt to taste
For Red Chutney:
- Garlic 3-4
- Tomato paste 1/2 cup
- Red chili powder 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
For Garnish:
- Yogurt 1/2 kg
- Corn flour 1 tsp
- Chaat masala 1 tsp
Method:
- Put soda in white lentil and soak overnight.
- Then put in grinder and grind it.
- Now put rice flour, garlic paste, cumin and salt and mix it nicely.
- Heat oil in pan, put oil in hands, make paste like doughnuts and fry it.
- Then keep in plate. Baray is ready.
- For masala: Add all ingredients in grinder and grind it. Masala is ready.
- For green chutney: Put all ingredients in grinder and grind it. Green chutney is ready.
- For red chutney: Put all ingredients in blender and make paste. Red chutney is ready.
- For serving: Put water with yogurt in bowl and beat it nicely.
- Now add corn flour, mix it and put in serving platter.
- Now put baray.
- Put green chutney and red chutney, garnish with masala and sprinkle chaat masala.
