Kabuli Chaat by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients :
- Chickpeas 200 grams
- Turmeric powder 1 pinch
- Red chili powder 1/4 tsp
- Tomatoes chopped 2
- Coriander leaves 1 bunch
- Salt to taste
- Crisp puris a few
- Chaat masala 1-2 tbsp
- Date and tamarind chutney 1/4 cup
- Green chutney 1/4 cup
- Sev 1 cup
Method :
- Wash and soak chickpeas overnight.
- Drain, add 3 cups of fresh water and little salt and pressure cook till done. Cool.
- Drain water and mix in turmeric powder and red chilli powder.
- Crush crisp puris and put in plate.
- Spread chickpeas on it.
- Add chopped tomatoes, date tamarind chutney and green chutney.
- Sprinkle the chaat masala, sev and coriander leaves and serve immediately.
