Spaghetti Pie by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:
- Spaghetti 1 packet
- Butter 2 tbsp
- Grated cheese 1/3 cup
- Egg beaten 2
- Mutton on Beef mince 1/2 kg
- Chopped onion 1
- Chopped capsicum
- Clove garlic minced 1
- Chopped tomatoes 1 cup
- Tomato paste 1 cup
- Sugar 1 tsp
- Dried oregano 1 tsp
- Cottage cheese 1 cup
- Shredded mozzarella cheese 1/2 cup
Method:
- Cook and drain spaghetti.
- Stir in butter, parmesan cheese and eggs, while spaghetti is hot.
- Form spaghetti mixture into crust in buttered 10 inch pie plate.
- In pan cook beef or mutton mince, onion, capsicum and garlic.
- Add tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar and oregano. Heat through.
- Spread cottage cheese over spaghetti crust then pour in beef and tomato mixture.
- Bake at 175 degrees C for 20 minutes.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over top of pie then bake for 5 minutes longer, until cheese melts.
