Jalfrezi Masala Paste by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:

  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Ginger 1 inch
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Tomato puree 2 tbsp
  • Green chilies 1
  • Coriander leaves 1 bunch
  • Cumin seeds 2 tsp
  • Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • Fenugreek seeds 1 tsp
  • Coriander seeds 1 tsp

Method:

  1. Roast garlic, ginger, turmeric, cumin, mustard seeds and fenugreek seeds until light brown and aroma comes.
  2. Then remove from stove.
  3. Then put in grinder and make powder.
  4. Now add remaining ingredients and make smooth paste.
  5. Use in curry or kebabs.
