Bean Chaat by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients :

For the Chaat:

  • Cooked red kidney beans 1 cup
  • Cooked chickpeas 1 cup
  • Cooked black eyes beans 1 cup
  • Cooked green beans 1 cup
  • Cooked potatoes 1 cup
  • Chopped onions 1/2 cup
  • Chopped tomatoes 1/2 cup
  • Chopped cucumber 1/2 cup
  • Pomegranate 1/2 cup

For the Dressing:

  • Olive oil 2 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Chaat masala 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Chopped coriander 1 tsp

Method :

  1. Whisk olive oil, lemon juice, chaat masala, salt, pepper and chopped coriander to make a dressing.
  2. Mix all red kidney beans, chickpeas beans, black eyed beans and green beans into the dressing.
  3. Then add chopped potatoes, onion, tomatoes and cucumber.
  4. Mix it well and let it soak dressing in ridge for 1 hour.
  5. Serve chilled.
