Funnel Cakes by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:

  • Milk 450 ml
  • Beaten Egg 1
  • Vanilla Essence 1 tsp
  • Flour 450 g
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Soda Bicarbonate 1 tsp
  • Sugar 1 tbsp
  • Melted Butter 60 gm
  • Icing Sugar for topping

Method:

  1. Mix milk, egg and vanilla essence in bowl.
  2. Now put flour, salt, soda and sugar in other bowl, cook it slowly slowly so that it comes in shape of smooth batter.
  3. Now keep caf on top of hot oil, put batter, make small cakes and stop batter from center of each cake with fingers.
  4. Then cook for 2-3 minutes until golden brown and rises lightly.
  5. Then sprinkle icing sugar.
