Ingredients:
- Rice boiled 1/2 kg
- Mutton 1/2 kg
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Whole spices 1 tbsp
- Bay leaves 2
- Whole red chilies dried 4
- Red chili powder 2 tsp
- Salt 1-1/2 tsp
- Yogurt 1 cup
- Yellow food color 1/4 tsp
- Oil 1/2 kg
- Ghee 2 tbsp
- Salt 1-1/2 tsp
Method:
- Heat oil, put ginger garlic paste and fry for 3 minutes.
- Now put mutton, whole spices, bay leaves, red chilies, red chili powder and salt and fry for 5 minutes.
- Now add yogurt, mix it and cook for 5 minutes.
- Then put 2 cups water, cover it and cook until meat tender and oil comes up.
- Now mix yogurt with food color in it and cook more for 5 minutes till gravy it thick.
- Then spread gravy on ready rice and simmer it for 20 minutes.
- Biryani is ready.
