Stuffed Mince Naan by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Flour 4 cups
  • Crushed garlic 4 tbsp
  • Baking powder 1 tsp
  • Baking soda 1/2 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Sugar 1 tbsp
  • Milk 1-1/2 cups
  • Sugar 2 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp
  • Yogurt 2 tbsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Butter 3 oz
  • Garlic powder 1 pinch

For Filling:

  • Mince 1/2 kg
  • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
  • Raw papaya 1 tbsp
  • Bihari masala 1/2 packet
  • Yogurt 2 tbsp
  • Green chilies chopped 2

Method:

  1. Marinate mince with ginger garlic, raw papaya, bihari masala, yogurt and green chilies.
  2. Now heat oil and cook mince until it tender.
  3. For naan: Mix flour, crushed garlic, baking powder, baking soda, salt, sugar and milk, knead it and make medium dough.
  4. Then put some oil on dough, cover with wet cloth and leave for 1 hour.
  5. Now press dough and divide into 2 portions.
  6. Then melt butter, press dough with hands, spread melted butter and sprinkle flour.
  7. Then roll dough again and leave for 15 minutes.
  8. Preheat oven on 250 degrees C.
  9. Now roll dough in thin rectangular shape.
  10. Now spread on greased tray, keep mince filling in center, cut sides of dough with knife and turn like braided bread.
  11. Then brush with melted butter and garlic powder and bake for 15-20 minutes.
