Spring Onion Pakora by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:
- Chickpea flour 1-1/4 cups
- Rice flour 2-3 tbsp
- Ginger garlic paste 1/2 tsp
- Red chili powder 1/2 tsp
- Cumin powder 1 pinch
- All spice powder 1 pinch
- Finely chopped green onions 8-10 (green portion)
- Finely chopped green onions 8-10 (white portion)
- Curry leaves few
- Salt to taste
- Soda 1 pinch
- Water as required
- Oil deep frying
Method:
- Combine both flours with salt, soda, spring onion whites and greens, cumin powder, all spice powder, chili powder, ginger garlic paste and curry leaves.
- Add enough water and mix well that it forms thick batter.
- Heat oil, drop batter in oil to form small fritters.
- Deep fry till they turn golden brown.
- Use a ladle to keep turning fritters so that it cooks on all sides.
- Once they turn golden brown, remove them on absorbent paper.
- Serve.
